This Money Cat is shown holding a Wu Lou (good health) and Money Bag (wealth luck) filled with ingots and gold bars with good fortune symbols written on it.
The maneki-neko (Japanese: 招き猫, literally “beckoning cat”) is a common Japanese figurine (lucky charm, talisman), which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. It depicts a cat (traditionally a calico Japanese Bobtail) beckoning with an upright paw, and is usually displayed—often at the entrance—in shops, restaurants and other businesses. The maneki-neko is sometimes also called the welcoming cat, lucky cat, money cat, happy cat, or fortune cat in English.
Wu Lou, also known as Holy Gourd and Calabash, is a powerful Feng Shui cure and enhancer of longevity, good health and prosperity. The shape of the Wu Lou also symbolizes heaven and earth united together. The upper section is the heaven while the bottom symbolizes the earth and when used by human, becomes an integration of heaven, earth and mankind. Thus, it becomes a perfect gift for old people and to oneself to ward off illness energies.
Gold Bars are widely accepted as symbols of wealth, riches and success. It is a perfect gift for working executives or businessmen. You may use Gold Bars as a paperweight, as an ingredient to your wealth vase, or to fill up wealth ships together with gold ingots and coins. They can also be placed in cashiers, in your home or office to boost income luck, windfall luck and speculative luck.
