In many Asian cultures, the Elephant is considered a sacred animal and regarded as the most marvelous creature ever created and is greatly admired. According to beliefs, Elephants are celestial animals and one of the sacred treasures of Buddha. Throughout time, these magnificent animals have come to represent protection, prosperity, good fortune, wisdom, strength, longevity, power, success and fertility.
Feng Shui experts suggest that an elephant with its trunk facing upwards symbolizes victory, good luck and prosperity. While an elephant with its trunk facing downward represents fertility and longevity.
WHERE TO PLACE THE ELEPHANT :
1. Attracting good luck to your home : Place a statue of an elephant, or a pair of elephants, by either side of your main door facing inward (if placed inside) to represent arrival of good luck.
2. Protection : Place an elephant or pair of elephants facing outward (if placed outside).
3. Fertility : Place an elephant in the bedroom or West sector of your house if you are trying to conceive. The West sector governs descendant luck.
4. Career & work success : Place an elephant near the front door or the door of the office to attract power and to protect the person from bad energy in the office or place an elephant on your work desk facing out for protection, intelligent leadership, poise under pressure and cautiousness in your career or business.
5. Academic success : The elephant also symbolizes wisdom. Place an elephant in your child’s bedroom, on his or her desk, or wherever s/he does homework.
6. Love & Fidelity : Place an elephant or pair of elephants in the bedroom to promote love and faithfulness between a couple.
