This pair of faux ivory Elephants are depicted carrying a lotus flower on its back which represent wealth. One elephant is shown carrying a Ruyi scepter with its trunk up which symbolizes victory, good luck and prosperity, power & authority while the other one is shown with its trunk facing downward and carrying a pearl which represents fertility and longevity.

According to beliefs, Elephants are celestial animals and one of the sacred treasures of Buddha.
